Sensorisch Landschap - Phase 1

In the project Sensorisch Landschap (Phase 1) deBaai worked together with consortia partners Overijssels Particulier Grondbezit, Datura B.V. en NMI Agro on the development of new techniques for measuring soil vitality in agricultural fields, with the goal to make the effects of sustainable farming practices measurable. The role of deBaai in the project is to
- Develop, install and maintain IoT soil sensors and provide a data visualisation tool for the users
- Data management and supporting data analysis of the dataset of 140 plots that were researched in the project using eDNA, sensors, greenhouse gas measurements, plant biodiversity, open data sources and chemical measurements.
- Parts of the project management, including sharing knowledge with users and stakeholders and writing grant applications.
